The design, supply and installation of mechanical services rated BREEAM Excellent for two NHS Doctor’s surgeries in Hertfordshire.

The NHS is striving to become carbon neutral so when two brand new doctors surgeries were built, it was the perfect time to design and install the latest technology for heating, ventilation and domestic services within the buildings.

Key challenges:

  • The need to employ renewable energy sources
  • The need to employ renewable energy sources
  • Coordinating the installation of the mechanical services alongside other fit-out work

Solutions:

  • Full system planned in Revit to ensure effectiveness ahead of going on-site
  • The use of state-of-the-art renewable energy equipment including solar panels for electricity generation and air source heat pumps for hot water
  • Experienced team ensured that each upgrade was delivered quickly and efficiently
