Cooling Water System for Vauxhall

Mechanical, Electrical and Controls design and installation of cooling water system for robots on new line at Vauxhall.

Having worked with Arcade on a number of mechanical projects, Vauxhall Motors called on us as part of its project to reconfigure the factory to enable production of a new vehicle. Our rerouting of the plant’s 16” HPHW main was required to enable the installation of a new conveyor system. Our works also saw a reconfiguration of the existing cooling water system to allow the installation of new robot welding cells on the existing lines.A new cooling system was installed to provide 700kw of free cooling via adiabatic coolers for the new welding cells installed.
